Sold house prices in England & Wales

Search any address, street, postcode or neighbourhood and see every recorded sale on the building it belongs to: what it sold for, when, and its price per square metre, going back to 1995. Around thirty million sales are on the map, placed at the exact address for most of them, so a converted block shows as its separate flats rather than one dot.

Every figure comes from HM Land Registry Price Paid Data: recorded sales, not asking prices or estimates. Click any home for its full history, every time it has changed hands, alongside floor area, EPC rating, rough construction age, tenure, and an estimated rent with the gross yield it implies. A photo appears where a current or recent listing has one.

The filters work the way listing search does, but on the sold record: only freehold, only flats, only sales between two dates, only within a price band. Open Price Trends for median and average by year with sales volume behind it, and add a second area to the same chart to compare. The whole selection exports to CSV, GeoJSON, KML or a shapefile.

Two honest limits. The register runs a month or two behind completions, longer for new builds, because that is when sales are lodged for registration. And flats in converted houses sometimes share one address in the register, so they can be hard to tell apart.
